☆いかなご☆ いかなごは、カルシウムが豊富で子供からお年よりまで、たくさんの方に食べて頂きたい魚です。 2月下旬の解禁～4月末頃までが漁期で2～4cmが食べ頃です。いかなごのくぎ煮の発祥地は神戸市垂水区と言われており、春の訪れを知らせる魚として地元では定着しています☆ いかなごの名前は、ある旅人の「いかなごを何という魚ですか？」という質問に対して方言で「何とおっしゃいました？」と返事したのを旅人がその方言を魚の名前と思ったという説と「糸のように細長い魚」という古語に由来する説とがあります。いかなごの幼魚、シンコ（新子・生後数ヶ月の当歳魚）で、地元の家庭では2月下旬頃になるといかなごの幼魚を使っていかなごのくぎ煮を作ります。この時期になると漁港に近い商店街などはいかなご一色に染まります。また、スーパーやホームセンターなどでは、いかなごの特設コーナーを作り、いかなごのくぎ煮を作るための大鍋と、保存容器などくぎ煮作りに必要なものそろえてを販売するようになります。いかなごは基本的に醤油、砂糖（ザラメ）、みりん、生姜を使って甘辛く味付けしますが、各家庭によって酒を入れたりレモンを入れるというように味付けが異なりそれぞれの味付けを楽しんでいます。いかなごは潮目に集まりやすく、明石海峡は地形や汐の干満、風により潮目ができているのでいかなごがよくとれる環境になっています。
